Uh, but he's usually at the top of it because there is a lot of, uh, lot of optimism for this Chargers offense with Mike McDaniel coming in

inI think this is just one of those guys where you rank them in, the, in, especially in a one quarterback league, you rank them by tier, right? And like, if, if, if I'm gonna be drafting in this tier, and Justin Herbert's the cheapest of the tier, and I'm looking at who's going kind of right after Justin Herbert, um, right before him goes Patrick Mahomes.

I prefer Justin Herbert straight up.

Brock Purdy goes right before him.

I rank them similarly.

But right after Justin Herbert go Jared Goff and Baker Mayfield, and then Kyler Murray.

So I definitely prefer Jared Goff to all three of those guys.

This is, this is an awesome price, dude.

[laughs]

... because I've never been a Zack Charbonnet guy, but I just refuse to believe it.

Like the, dude, you tore your ACL in January and had surgery in February.

They say like nine months is like the right ter- it is like the right length, right, for recovery.

I don't believe it at all.

Now I know they're getting George Holani some work.

Emmanuel Wilson's been a guy who's given the, the, the Green Bay Packers some quality snaps when he's been afforded the opportunity.

[laughs]

Who's your next sleeper?

So this is a player, I was kind of alluding to this a little bit earlier, that I don't necessarily like the player.

We've never liked...

We, we didn't love him as a prospect.

Brett Whitefield thought he was an overrated prospect.

Did not think he was a first round pick.

But this is now the range of drafts where I'm like, what if we're wrong? And what if the opportunity to just invest in what should be a better offense this year is worth the cost? It's Xavier Worthy, who's wide receiver 49 right now, uh, on, on FF- uh, uh, FFPC formats.

in fantasy this year.

Like, okay, yeah, sure, he's not like a, you know, great route runner or anything like that, but he certainly can house some screens.

Yeah, and I, I think that that could be a role for him.

He could be a little bit more involved in the pass game.

They do have some backs in Amari Dimercato and Brochard Smith and Emmet Johnson that can play a little bit in the passing game.

But I think a big reason why Kenneth Walker went to Kansas City, outside of the money He wanted, he wants a Bell Cow type of role.

He wants to be out in the field more.

Uh, he was losing, constantly losing snaps to Zach Charbonnet and that committee up in Seattle.

... where like he doesn't have a huge pass down role, but it's a great offense that could score a ton of points, and he's their goal line back.

But if anything were to happen to Judkins, Joe, I think Dylan Sampson makes a ton of sense in the late rounds as one of the true, like, we know this guy's gonna be the handcuff this season.

Y- yeah.

So here's the thing about Dylan Sampson.

Number one, uh, do not expect him to all of a sudden go for like, uh, 20 carries for 150, uh, 50 yards and two touchdowns.

He was atrocious on the ground last year.

Just, uh, 175 rushing yards, 2.7 yards per carry.

But he was one of the most efficient receivers at the position all season long.

And at that price, where you can get him as your RB4 or RB5 even, I think it's more than fine.

Who is your first breakout pick with actual league winning upside?

Yeah.

So, um, uh, last year, uh, one of the things that, that we got into trouble with was drafting guys who were already injured, and, uh, I tried to wanna avoid that this year, but I, I might fall into the trap again because I absolutely love Tucker Kraft.

If we're looking at sleeper ADP right now, uh, Tucker Kraft is a seventh round pick.

He's the sixth tight end off the board.

And, uh, I know that he has league winning upside because when Tucker Kraft got hurt last year, he was tied with Trey McBride in half PPR fantasy points per game.

He was the number one tight end in fantasy points per game.

[laughs]

... you're ready to go?

So one thing you have to understand is rankings in a traditional sense, you know, I don't think they apply in auction drafts.

I, I would argue that they don't necessarily apply in redraft as well.

But in redraft, you are often going to ma- be making a binary decision, okay? If I have the number one pick, I have to choose between Jahmyr Gibbs or Bijan Robinson.

I don't get to have both of those players.

But in an auction draft, you can kind of group those two guys together because in theory, you have an opportunity to draft every player.

Now, obviously we know that it doesn't work out that you can draft every player, but there is nothing preventing you before the draft from saying, "I am not going to be able to draft X guy," because you have an empty roster and a full roster budget.

You wanna see where he comes off the board and for how much.

Should we expect some sort of bounce back this year? What are you seeing?

Yeah, so, um, obviously, uh, as all of us do here at Fantasy Points, we piggyback off [laughs] the research of Chris Wecht, who's our projections czar, and then the wonderful Ryan Heath, who obviously appears on this very channel a lot.

And, um, it- I think a lot of people are kind of back into an old school approach with fantasy football drafting, running backs early, running backs early.

And it's hard to not get into that because of how many of the appealing running backs are really off the board by like the end of the third or end of the fourth round, and I understand all of that.

Um, and one thing that has happened the last couple of years is like wide receiver twos on fantasy teams.

So like, w- like, w- we're talking like wide receiver 13 to 24 on average in ADP, not like wide receiver two on an NFL team.

Their production has kind of plummeted the last couple of years, and there's multiple reasons that people are assigning to this, right? They're assigning, uh, the revolution of the run game.

Uh, spend those p- you know, picks on premium positions, not at quarterback, because this is just such an awesome year for late-round quarterback.

Yeah.

The, the, with the, with Omari and Hampton, just like if, if the Mike McDaniel offense really starts to take off here, man, it's a, uh, it, it, it's, it, it's scary to pass on him.

But you know, he got hurt last year.

Do- to- Keaton Mitchell is a guy who's getting a lot of steam in some spots, so man, oh boy, massive run of running backs right here, guys.

We've got seven of the last, seven of the last nine picks, um, nine of the last 12 picks.

This is, this is old school, Graham.

I, I know you've been doing these-

Yeah.

[laughs]

... and Nola, um, but, um, that reminds me, like when they had a prospect named Dominic Brown, and a- a- all the time they were spelling it Dominic, like, you know, everybody spells Dominic, but he actually spelled his name Domonic.

And he just was scared to tell people because he was young and he was shy.

And I think I- that's kind of the same thing with Travis Etienne.

But, um, at Fantasy Points, we have Etienne projected for 948.6 rushing yards.

And I, I, I almost wonder if, I- if Vegas is...

I, I don't know.

But, uh, uh, you know, Colston Loveland has kinda been my favorite so far.

If you had to sort of pick one or two out of that group, who would you focus on?

Well, number one would be Shuck.

Tom has the guy.

The Jets and the Titans coming up.

I want nothing to do with Minshew.

Over the last five weeks, by the way, Patrick Mahomes is the number 17 quarterback in fantasy points per game.

How am I supposed to extrapolate that into anything positive for Gardner Minshew? That's a completely broken offense with a broken offensive line and no run game.

If QJ is inactive once again, are you using Harris in a matchup that could potentially tilt way, way over? I haven't looked at the early over-unders this week, but I would imagine Dallas LA has a nice, big, healthy number next to it.

Chan is unable to go this week in week 15? Let's start out with you on this one, Joe.

Yeah, so the 100 yards, that was one of the games that I can only watch six at once in my office.

First world problem, right? I can only watch six games at once.

That was one of the games I relegated when I was doing my game day show on Sirius XM.

So I was a little bit surprised when I looked up at the box score at the end of the game and saw that Jalen Wright had over 100 rushing yards in that game.

I know our guy, Brett Whitefield, likes to bag on him for his lack of vision.

But I guess the Jets holes were big enough that he could even see through those.

Is this a quarterback that you would trust on the road in Chicago?

This is a very important week for a lot of fantasy managers.

Yeah, the confidence level is not, like, super high, but I love that there's some legitimate upside here.

Like, I'd rather play him than any Bills wide receiver right now, which sounds ridiculous to say.

I mean, the Bills leading wide receiver in that game on Sunday was Brandon Cooks, who had one catch.

you know, for 13 yards.

So the thing is that Darren Muji, Aaron Glenn, they are in evaluation mode right now.

Right.

I mean, he played fairly well in this game, so maybe he's a guy that they want to kind of feature a little bit more down the stretch.

Obviously, the game flow lent itself, but could he have a little bit more juice than maybe Kamara showed at any point over the last month and a half?

Yeah, I think he might.

I think that's a justifiable thing to expect because we were talking off air.

I don't know how good the Saints are at self-scouting because they are just running Taysom Hill directly into offensive linemen.

And he's like 36 years old and I don't understand what they're doing with that.

So maybe there's a chance Devin Neal has been more kind of explosive than Alvin Kamara and they just refuse to put him on the field.

But I think best case scenario for Devin Neal, at least realistic, is look at what Ashton Gentry did against the Browns yesterday behind an offensive line that cannot block for the run in a bad offense.

But where are you at on him in traditional PPR leagues right now? Should we get excited about him? I will say Cam Ward looked pretty good against that Seattle defense.

It's a very important player to them.

Yeah, the Packers now, they were able to escape with a win, which keep them in the playoff picture and should still be in the the NFC North picture with the Lions going down on Sunday night football.

Emmanuel Wilson played virtually every snap after Josh Jacobs went out.

He played over 90 percent of the snaps after he went down.

Obviously, he was productive.

He got in the end zone.

He had he had a nine yard reception.

What's your enthusiasm level for Pat Bryant? Cortland Sutton is just sort of sitting there having fewer and fewer impactful fantasy

This is a player that needs to be viewed as an elite handcuff due to Christian McCaffrey's usage and age.

And he's gotten a touchdown in back-to-back weeks.

So I wonder if he's kind of, if you're desperate, like a lowercase version of like Zach Charbonnet or Tyler Algier, a player who basically is a handcuff, but you can put into a lineup and just say, look, I need him to score a touchdown.

There's a decent bet he scores a touchdown.

I feel like that's the kind of player he is.

But he's also the kind of player that you should be rostering right now.

on a playoff contending team because in week 11, I feel like we almost know who our starters are going to be or who our major contributors are going to be if we're going to win a fantasy championship, right? So a player like Corum, a player like Brian Robinson, even if they don't have an immediate pathway into your lineup, They're more valuable to me than guys like Bill, right? Like who like is empty calories.

Would you be interested in using Sean Tucker, Joe, in sort of a dart throw if you're in running back hell?

Joe, your thoughts on Torrey Horton moving forward? I saw you on X saying, how about we just give him the job? Forget about this old guy, Cooper Cup.

Play Cooper Cup in a situation.

role, right? I mean, I'm sure there's still a role where the veteran can do some good things for this passing offense, but we wanted to see Torrey Horton with an expanded role, and here's what he did.

He puts up, what, 20 fantasy points for you.

So, I mean, there are certainly people who picked up and started Torrey Horton.

I'm one of them.

Unfortunately, in one of my leagues, I dropped Pop Douglas to do it, but I came out and still had a good performance with Torrey Horton.

Joe, you're Torrey Horton over Parker Washington, or is this roster dependent? Sort of if I needed a guy this week, do I lean towards Washington, or do you just go with the upside?

Joe, what are your thoughts on how this Giants offense is going to look forward, how they might utilize Tracy?

I think it's going to look similar.

Obviously, he has a different skill set than Cam Scadaboo, but he also can contribute in the passing game.

He's a former wide receiver.

We saw that last year.

I would think that the split is going to be pretty similar to what it was from Scadaboo to Tracy, now from Tracy to Devin Singletary, who Devin Singletary, by the way, he's almost guaranteed to be available in your league.

If you're in a deeper league and you might want somebody who has a chance to just get some snaps, he made a downfield catch last when he was really tightly covered last night or on Sunday against the Eagles.

Are you there with him, or is he still a little bit more of a this-is-a-handcuff kind of play to you?

How excited would you be to add him this week if he was available in your league on waivers? Joe, let's start out with you on this one.

Yeah, this is a guy I was drafting a lot in the last round of best ball drafts.

He's a guy who I drafted in some of my redraft leagues, and he was kind of a fantasy yo-yo, one of those up and down guys on and off a roster.

But the rationale was simple here.

Isaiah Pacheco was terrible last year, and he got hurt.

And if he didn't bounce back, what was their backfield going to look like? Kareem Hunt is one of the slowest running backs in the NFL right now.

What is it going to look like for him? So Brashard Smith, as a former college receiver who played one year as a running back, well, we had just seen somebody who was that same profile have a really strong rookie season in Tyrone Tracy.

Your thoughts on Jalen Lane in sort of a increased role here?

Do you think this could be a big boost to Cade Otten?

Yeah, I actually think that might be the way to go here with Tez Johnson.

You know, I think Sterling Shepard is probably going to be the most consistent chain mover of the guys who are left over at wide receiver.

I had never even heard, quite frankly, of Cameron Johnson before yesterday.

I was watching, I was on the game day show and I had mentioned to Paul Kelly that I threw Tez Johnson in a DFS lineup because of the injuries that they had.

And this was even before Ibuka went out.

And I saw Johnson score a touchdown yesterday.

So I think what happened was it was I made a comment.

Remember? Remember the Jaden Reed situation this off season where like he had to, they had to assure his agent that his role wasn't changing.

And I said, like, who are these Packers receivers? Like they could, they could, they could demand targets.

And Christian Watson's dad got in there on me, but he's, he's practicing since the ACL season.

Maybe in a deeper league, but I was talking to Tom before we came on air, and he's like, just what we need is another Packer wide receiver to throw into this mix.

Your thoughts on Barner and maybe put it into context with the Theo Johnsons, the Wallers, the Mason Taylors.

ECR 21 this guy is currently, so let's hear it.

Uh, it's Isaiah Likely.

And, look, we just saw Mark Andrews come off a really inconsistent season.

Yes, he had 11 touchdown receptions, but everybody's gonna remember what happened in the playoffs, you know, with the drop on the two-point conversion.

He had some fumbles, he had some drops during the regular season.

And we have a really interesting comment from, uh, John Harbaugh this off season.
