And Joe Davis, calling the game for Fox, I think tried to give a little shout-out to Bob Uecker, who had a unique way of calling home runs.

Joe Davis didn't get it right, but he attempted to get the Uecker call right.

But he called the Cooper Pratt home run similarly to Bob Uecker.

I think it was a shout-out to Uecker.

That's right.

Uecker got moved.

So Joe Davis gave it the get up, get up.

Got all the, uh, World Championship calls for you.

The only broadcaster that pre-scripted his call was the guy we all listened to calling the game on Fox, Joe Davis.

And this was how it sounded last night on national television on Fox.

That's pretty cool.

I think it is cool.

So you got the Joe Davis call that he scripted.

You know, Gage, you and I and pretty much every other Brewers fan has ripped on Joe Davis time and time again, and he has deserved it many of those times.

That call is one of those calls that, I mean, truly just plays in my head over and over again out of nowhere.

You know, like the monkey with the symbols, but it's that call.

It makes up for the Brewers not being able to, you know, help him out with the get up, get up, get out of here call on the Pratt-Homer.

But, of course, you know, all things are right in the world with a Brewers World Series.

And instead, if you saw the last game of the World Series, which I did, the first six guys... flew out against Mizorowski, so no strikeouts through two innings.

And some of those fly balls were hit pretty well, but the idea that he got guys out without striking them out was a good point made by Smoltz and Joe Davis, and the fact that it allowed him to get deeper into the game, I think.

Right, that's going to be the big thing.

If he figures out a way where he's not throwing max ever, because you just look at him, and yeah, he put on like 30 pounds between last season and this season.

Those are the biases that bother me.

When an announcer, whether it's Mike Breen with the Knicks or whether it's Joe Davis with the Dodgers, we know what the affiliations are, so I don't have an issue with that when I know it.

It's when I don't know it that there's a problem.
