And Aaron continues, a plot point I found most interesting is that how seemingly attached an inhibitor on his ring in the past, which he slices off now in the present...

And he was responsible for killing the Waynes, which is against the comic books.

It was Joe Chill in the comic books that had been hired by the mob to kill the Waynes.

Yeah, it wasn't, it wasn't the Joker.

A little bit more about his dad and, um, you know, a little bit more about, like, Joe Chill and things like that, and the starts of Batman.

But it, it's pretty much, like, this feels like a one-off story.

But again, because no social media, because of no internet, you probably wouldn't hear about this until years later.

But Famously in the comic books and in other versions, Batman's parents are either killed by a two-bit thug named Joe Chill or a random mugger, a nobody.

This film adds the twist that the person responsible for killing Bruce's parents is none other than the pre-Joker Jack Napier.

And again, I can understand if you want a fidelity to the source material, why that would be a problem.

... would've been an imaginary story," but I thought, "What if we actually did it? What if we killed Ma and Pa Kent? What if we, uh, killed Joe Chill, and, and took the kids, and raised the kids, and made them the tyrants of the universe?" Like, it's not like it hadn't been done.

As, as a hardcore Legion fan, I, I love those, those sections of that story as well.

After a lot of seeing the two remaining jokers do their things, and Jason tries to get with Barbara, which doesn't work out after he is kidnapped and tortured, and eventually the real plan comes to the fore, or at least what we think the real plan is at this point in the story.

The plan is to kidnap Joe Chill, who is dying... and turn him into the ultimate Joker because it would bring everything together when it comes to Batman.

The three heroes are led to the Monarch Theater to face the Jokers.

Jason and Batgirl take on the Comedian, that is the Comedian Joker, not the Comedian from Watchmen, which I admit would have been a twist I never would have seen coming.

So he would have thrown that in.

That would have been a legitimate surprise.

the theater erupts in flames and Batman saves Joe chill from the acid that was stolen earlier in the series.

And the fight between him and the criminal Joker goes into the alley.
