Job 40

Now, the last time we studied this, we studied Job chapter 40.

And we studied in Job 40 that iron is depictive of the devil, of Satan.

And so that's a picture of satanic activity when you talk about iron.

All right, now this iron and clay is mixing.

You know, Job chapter...

I want to say it's Job 40.

It tells us not to argue with God, not to criticize, become a critic of God.

I don't know if they have that scripture, but I think it's Job 40, verse 2.

And I want to say it might be in the New Living Translation.

See if they can find that.

There's nothing quite like a freshly steamed lobster tail smothered in drawn butter.

Wow, tastes good, doesn't it? But does the Bible forbid us to eat it? The biblically infamous first king of Israel, Saul, will he be in heaven? Do you believe that Job 40, 15 through 24, and chapter 41, 1 through 34, do you believe that those passages are referring to dinosaurs? Oh, boy.

Does this go back to our Genesis series? Yeah.

Hey everyone, this is Jason Hensley, and this week we're going to be listening to a talk by Brother Richard Morgan given at the Simi Hills Ecclesia in California.

One of the things that I really loved about this talk, this is an exhortation, is that Brother Richard spent time looking at the connections between Isaiah 53 and the story of Job.

I'd never looked at those before, and I found those links to be really powerful because you can see that they're there.

And even more, you can imagine that as the Lord Jesus read Isaiah 53 and thought about himself, he would have also made those connections back to Job.

And therefore, considering Job and Job's response to his own suffering, I think that would have really impacted Christ.

And Brother Richard brings that out really nicely.

So that's what I love about this talk.

We want resolution now.

Like, what is a story for? You know, what is fictional magic, you know, or fictional dragons versus, you know, the actual dragon, like, you know, the dragon in Revelation 13, for exam- or Revelation 12, I think.

You know, versus the dragon in, you know, Job 40 v- 40 and 41.

You know, Leviathan is a, is a very different beast who actually illustrates, in God's reckoning, attributes of God.

And if there were ever dragons and not just dinosaurs, then God created them and, and they were made originally good.
