local pub because i also i love a green hopped beer from kent So I'm from Kent, my family's from Kent, and we have some breweries down our way that make some really lovely green hop beers where they've literally, they're on the phone to the hop farmer being like, are they ready yet? Are they ready yet? Are they ready yet? And then they put a brew on in the morning, they drive to the farm, pick up their hops, chuck them in the beer, and then you get some really interesting flavours because it's a difference between that freshness.

Joanne LoveGUEST
Usual hops that you're using have usually been dried, so they're kioned once they're picked so that they last longer.

Joanne LoveGUEST
I want to say in the 50s or the 70s, they realised that actually, because there's lots of plant matter, it is sucking up all of the beer.

Joanne LoveGUEST
So how can we... counteract that a little bit so we can make a bit more beer, and that's when they realised that they could grind them down and make pellets.
