So how-- do you have an example where before and after you had to change or how, uh, how a care pathway changed and what that made of an impact and how, how was this achieved? So how can you optimize a care pathway To better the economic and the environmental outcome

Joachim AlmdalGUEST
So, uh, we did one, uh, project with, uh, a med tech company, uh, where, uh, they were doing a, a partnership with a healthcare provider, a large global med tech company for a project, uh, in a, in a surgical theater.

Joachim AlmdalGUEST
And in the initial conversations we were, uh, brought in to, uh, yeah, support on the sustainability calculations and verify they also had a strong internal team.

Joachim AlmdalGUEST
Um, and there i- initially the, uh, focus was very much on the, uh, the product itself, but what we realized there was actually that the largest potential CO2 savings of that for this particular med tech project, uh, product around surgery, uh, you could, uh, diagnose the need for surgery and then do the surgery right after using the same product, but also in the same session, so with the whole, uh, surgical theater, uh, set up.

Joachim AlmdalGUEST
And, and yeah, that was actually much more important than, than waste or the product itsel- itself, uh, that the patient didn't have to go back home.
6 MINS LATER

Lucas PianegondaHOST
So wh- why is that, and where do they see really the value in, in what you're doing with this care pathway, let's say, conceptualization of, uh, healthcare?
