And it used to be just like there were no people there, and now you, it's, you know, there's crowd control 'cause it's, it's so crazy.

But a neighborhood like Jimbocho, the used bookstore district, or out east in Kuramae and Asakusabashi is where all the cool boutiques and cafes are opening.

It's, it's the real Brooklyn of Tokyo.

That's, like, a hackneyed phrase, but that area is where the cool people are going to get away from everybody else.

And to have a Japanese book was a full circle moment.

I sat last year with my publisher, Seigen-sha, up near Jimbocho.

And when I went in, it was funny because when I first came in, it was that Japanese atmosphere that I remember of an office when I first came.

You know, people sort of fussing about and, you know, sort of no one really saying anything.
