Jimmy Watkins

What up, Cavs Nation? I'm your host, Ethan Sands, and I'm back with another episode of the Wine and Gold Talk Podcast.

And joining me today, Jimmy Watkins, Cleveland.com columnist.

And we are here to recap the Cleveland Cavaliers' third straight home win of the season after they came back once again against the Washington Wizards to victory, 121-111 on Wednesday evening.

Jimmy, this again was a game that showcased the Cleveland Cavaliers may be a team of two halves.

Yeah, I think he's super talented.

For Jimmy Watkins, Ryan Brown, there is a Stephen Means, Drake Lindsey.

There is.

I think DJ Legway has another year, but I don't need to do that.

What up, Cavs Nation? I'm your host, Ethan Sands, and I'm back with another episode of the Wine and Gold Talk Podcast.

And joining me today, Chris Fedor, Cleveland.com Cavs beat reporter, and Jimmy Watkins, Cleveland.com columnist.

And guys, one thing is for certain.

about the Cavs after their first three games of the season, they have proven why 48 minutes of hoops is needed before any full judgment or assessments can be made.

Browns preview, 5 to 6.

Jimmy Watkins, cleveland.com.

Browns preview.

Jimmy Watkins, Cleveland.com. We're talking about the Browns and the Titans.

Coming up next...

I just finished watching the, uh, Baltimore game uh this morning and you know some thoughts on that but in the end when it really mattered the most the Browns played better than Baltimore and Baltimore just hung I think 28 or 30 points on Atlanta the week before with Tyler Huntley so um let's uh yeah so why don't we

start with like let's start with a bigger picture look here I'm interested in this dynamic Jimmy Watkins our colleague called the Browns like an ugly baby Yeah.

And I it was an interesting phrase, but talking to a lot of Browns fans and I'm sure you're hearing from some.

It's like going into the season.

And, and did it almost burn them? Yeah, because Cam Calhoun has to come into the game and, you know, there's moving pieces and, you know, Nick Marsh could be six inches to the right and, and it's a whole different ballgame, right? And we're talking about that in a whole different, different, you know, wording.

But at the same time, I don't think me or you or columnist Jimmy Watkins was sitting in that press box on, on Saturday telling ourselves like, like, "They gotta get this to where Luke Fahey wins the game for them." Like-

Mm-hmm

... whether it worked or whether it didn't, leaning on your defense was the right move there for Ohio State.

I didn't.

I was actually texting our columnist, Jimmy Watkins, because he was also re-watching the game earlier this week.

And he was like, Fernando Mendoza was kind of a dude in that game.

And upon re-watching, I was also like, I think Fernando just kind of made some throws that decided that game.

We have a good time over there.

Ohio State, Indiana, Saturday we'll be there, and we'll be joined by our columnist, Jimmy Watkins, as well.
