And, you know, I never saw the bunker, obviously.

I left the vice president's office just before they realized that there was a plane coming directly at the White House at 500 miles an hour, and that's when Jimmy Scott, the head of that sh- the vice president sh-shift, ran into him and said, "Sir, we have to leave." And Cheney said, "All right," and he said, "Now."

So they're taking him to the bunker, and that's where Condoleezza Rice will go, and then, uh, the presidential entourage is, is on its way to Air Force One.

But we don't know any of that as we're standing there.

Um, and then at the White House, as United 93 was heading towards DC, they thought it was gonna attack, hit the White House.

Special Agent Jimmy Scott broke into the VP's office, picked the vice president up by his belt, and literally carried him down to the PEOC.

The VP talks about how he grabbed some newspapers and moved him down to the Presidential Emergency Operations bunker to keep him safe, um, which was fine because they knew the PEOC could withstand a plane hitting the White House, but they were worried about the fire.

They didn't know if it would survive a fire.
