Jimmy Paulding

Um, former Lucia Mar superintendents, Renee Daily, Jim Hogeboom, Nancy DePuy.

Um, many members of the Board of Supervisors who I'm also colleagues with, Jimmy Paulding, uh, Bruce Gibson, future boar- uh, supervisor Jim Dantona, um, Don Ortiz-Legge, Don Addis.

Who's endorsing you?

Uh, I, I am endorsed by, uh, the Teacher's Association, y- y- Lució Moore Unit- Unified Teacher's Association, by Jimmy Paulding, and by a good number of teachers present and retired, and administrators present and retired.

Final thought is, um, I, I, what I bring to this is, uh, inclusive of the fact that I was appointed to the Civil Service Commission in 2023 by Jimmy Paulding, so I am familiar with the rules that govern pub- public agencies, the Brown Act.

Um, I'm a teacher myself at this point, I'm teaching a law school class in contracts.

And here's to celebrating all of our Asian and Pacific Islander folks here in San Luis Obispo County.

So this is Jimmy Paulding, Board Chair of San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors.

Today we were able to lift up the AAPI community as well as the Arab American community by sponsoring proclamations and resolutions.

The intent here is to honor the values and contributions that these wonderful people bring to our community.
