well wings was interesting also because it was and the beatles really you know had followed the same pattern that wings was a pop group and a rock band And beyond that too.

I mean, I, and I think that, that a big reason why I got the gig was because I was versatile, you know, cause my predecessors, Henry McCulloch, Jimmy McCulloch were great rock guitar players, but that was what they did.

Whereas for me, I could do what I needed to do on acoustic, or if I needed to play a jazz intro, I could do that, or something that was outside of the normal box.

So it kind of suited my musical temperament well.

You know, everything is sort of nicely shaped and nicely performed.

And kudos to the guitar player, Jimmy McCulloch, who does some sterling work on this number.

So we can just guess that, you know, wasn't that happy i mean the tom anderson the engineer i've interviewed was uh clear in telling me that paul kind of instructed jimmy on his guitar parts before the recording sessions in the in the virgin island so again paul the perfectionist uh you got a great guitar player It doesn't need, I mean, to be instructed necessarily.

No, 27, to be honest with you, I know he had other people singing a couple of the songs, Denny Lane and, uh, Jimmy McCulloch, but I, I count those as Alps solo albums to me.
