And there was this wonderful environment that Graham grew up on.

So he was able to join bands as a teenager with guys like Jim Stafford, who was a brilliant guitarist, and be able to tour throughout the state as a teenager.

And that really helped nurture him as an artist.

So when he went out to the West Coast, kind of fell into the birds in 1968, he was ready to go.
