And so, uh, this one actually, uh, I think Jim Shockey wrote this song, but, um, I'm not even gonna tell you what it is at all.

[laughs] But at the end of the day, it's like, man, we're in America.

Be willing to bag everything you've been told until you've done a bunch of it yourself.

You know, I used to talk to Jim Shockey's guides all the time.

I'd go hunting up there and have dinner with the guides.

There'd be six guides sitting there.

these are six guides that hunt his black bear units, you know, over in over there by the British Columbia.

Sure.

And listening to what they had to say, by the way, it concurred with what I experienced in my lifetime shooting big black bears but to listen to them was really interesting I had six guides that for over a decade had all been hunting for Jim Shockey taking hunters out and you know one thing they said that was just I probably shouldn't repeat it I'm going to start a firestorm they said we would prefer a hunter shows up with a 308 anything be it a 308 Winchester a 30-06 a 300 windbag but a .308 caliber bullet anything than a 7mm Remington mag.

They said we need more bears lost to the 7 Remington mag than anything.

Yeah.

I remember once Jim Shockey went down there hunting with us for his red rocketeer.

he arrives wearing his cowboy boots and his cowboy hat yeah red bandana yeah red bandana you know and his shirt yeah and next morning his feet was like bleeding absolutely like I mean it bleeding because of those and he's like what the hell? And we were like, dude, when I was wearing pants, I was like, yeah, these things go through everything, you know? But, ah, Sean Bennett real.

I remember once Jim Shockey went down there hunting with us for his red rocketeer.

I mean, back in the day, right.

Outdoor channel was it like, that's what we're all obsessed with was like, the outdoor channel, watching Jim Shockey, all those different guys out there.

So like when I was little, that's who I looked up to.

And always, we're always filming our hunts, whitetail hunting in Iowa.

So when I was growing up, when I was impressionable, um, watching monster bucks, watching, uh, you and your, your guys, uh, I mean, and when I say you guys, I mean, we're talking about, um, We're talking about Dale Earnhardt.

We're talking about Jim Shockey.

We're talking about – oh, who's the pitcher that drank all the beer on the plane that there's a story about? I can see his face.

Um, they've done a couple of films for Cam Haines, Leupold and Yeti, but a lot of different work.

One of the owners is, uh, Jim Shockey's son, Brandland Shockey.

Okay.

And, um, they do just amazing work.
