Jim, when you, you know, get this idea and y'all getting it together and going about the process too, I guess seeing the creativity and how it all comes, it's pretty magical too, huh?

Yeah, I think when we first started with the idea, I think Steve initially was like, what? How would that work? I think I had the same reaction.

It's sort of like, okay, what would the point be? And so I think just as we kept going down that road of really exploring with Steve, what does rebirth really mean to him? That's where it just kept opening more and more depth of...

steve's life his philosophy what he's learned um we all got to sort of participate in that process with him and then you know next thing you know we have 12 songs we actually have more than that but 12 made the right album and here we are but certainly these first two songs um feel purpose-built for right now, for this moment.

And of course, we also obviously believe that these songs have a much longer life than just this weekend and speak to things that are much more universal and powerful about what Steve and what this city and what this franchise and what this whole region has been through.

And to show that on a national stage and have the national spotlight on the people of New Orleans, I think it's really exciting for all of us.
