Last year, Jim Rowan, former CEO of Volvo Cars and Dyson, joined Zero 100 as our executive in residence.

And one sunny summer day, he was kind enough to let us sit in on a conversation with an old friend and colleague, also a Zero 100 board member, Javier Varela, the Chief Operations Officer at Rivian.

Having driven digital transformation at Volvo before himself, now moving on to disrupt the EV space at Rivian, Javier knows a thing or two about modern operations, to say the least.
