Um, "Listening to your Correspondent special, the email about obscure made-up rules triggered a memory of my own childhood.

As a five-year-old, I was delighted to collect the crisp packets to get the free Smiths Greatest Moments of the World Cup World Soccer, presented by autocue robot Bobby Robson and commentated on by QK legend Jim Rosenthal, that was released in the run-up to the 1990 World Cup.

The video contained a mix of clips from World Cups, Euros, and important club games, interspersed with classic '90s adverts for Squares, Quavers, and Monster Munch.

... as well and, uh, and Jim Rosenthal as well, so I mean, speaking to Des was just amazing.

I mean, I couldn't believe it.

I mean, what a, what a huge star he was.

He was lovely to talk to and really helpful.

And then Jim Rosenthal was another one who was absolutely brilliant.

So Jim's job was to cover England.

He actually used to stay in the same hotel.
