And that's, that's the Johnny with the Phillips family.

And, and once, uh, once he said, well, Hey, why are you calling me? You know, I said, well, Jim Riley is, Oh yeah, I love him.

What do you got? And he's like, uh, and he's like you know a month later we were okay you're my record label and now now it's like i had i had the you know i had the finished songs but i didn't have a band name i didn't have anything

hold on a second because this is what what cracks me up you know you say you started writing songs four years ago yeah you started putting music together you were playing in a blues cover band and now you're writing songs and you're recording songs and you just stumble upon a record deal.

I can write a song about that.

And, you know...

I don't know, 10 days later, I'm in Nashville recording that with Jim Riley.

And so we've recorded in Nashville as well.

Yeah, yeah.

Jim, Jim and I have been, we got our sea legs now.

We're, like, in our seventh season of doing this thing.

We took a break.

Get the applause thing ready.

Oh, good god.

Now everybody knows that Jim is a drum hobbyist.

He's a damn good drum hobbyist.

And they would always have something to say, and they still do.

Because it's like, well, who do you think you are that you know so much more than the rest of us that you can command this amount of money to go s- stand in front of an audience? And it's like, well, if you put yourself in the right positions and you take all the risks, and you h- uh, you, you know, Jim Riley was living out of his car.

We became roommates.

Like, we did things that a lot of people just aren't willing to do.
