But this is a big bet, and this is the biggest investment in myself I have ever made.

So I've been thinking a lot about some of my favorite conversations with people who have made big bets, and one of my favorites is this one with Jim McKelvey.

This has gotta be one of my favorite episodes that I've ever had on Social Currency, and it originally aired around a year ago.

So Jim is the co-founder of Square, now the company's name is Block, and just as a hint or if you haven't seen or heard this episode yet, there is a story in here about a striptease he performed at the last minute to win over a potential customer, and that's gotta be one of the top stories ever told on the show.

I still also think about his innovation stack methodology, and he actually wrote a full book about this, and this has been so helpful to me as I've been building this new company behind the scenes.

Um, but immediately, um, cause they tell you like right after all the pitches, um, after they discuss, uh, I'd found out that I had gotten the 50 K, but also I that my judges were Maxine Clark, the CEO and founder of Build-A-Bear, which for a toy inventor was like an absolute dream.

And then Jim McKelvey, the co-founder of Square with Jack Dorsey.

And so it was like, wow, okay.

And then they were so excited that they doubled down.
