So Muskie's Inc. was founded.

We are the founding chapter.

Twin Cities chapter is the number one chapter in the founding chapter.

um there was basically a couple of news sports writery people a couple of politician or politically connected people and gil ham wanted not to have to drive to to uh the chipwalla flow edge or lake of the woods or far northern minnesota to fish muskies and they said you know why can't we have a better quality muskie fishery here around central minnesota that there's the potential for it and That's what got things started.

And it was a fairly, well, it was the late 60s, early 70s.

So, um, but I think that in itself, the fact that they broadcasted a plan was, was pretty unique and kind of cool.
