And Israel is also important to Jews because part of the reason that Israel was created was because in that moment in nation states, Jews were asking the question of, okay, well, there was a moment when it looked like enlightenment might bring safety for Jews in Western Europe in particular.

And it means that also because this parade is led by a delegation that comes from – that's organized by the consulate that comes from the Israeli government, it means that being in this parade is – basically forces you, it's essentially a litmus test of, you know, forces you to march behind the current Israeli government, which, you know, seems like you're agreeing with their particular positions.

You're celebrating this country that is, you know, that has a government that has been moving further and further into illiberal democracy and fascism and, you know, endless occupation and endless war.

So it seems like that's what you're celebrating.
