Why is it called Fifth of Nisan,

Rachel? It's called Fifth of Nisan because it's named after my Hebrew birthday because I decided I wanted to make like a Jewish music band and the kind of point of it was to lean into my Jewishness and my identity and sort of explore that part of me musically and At the same time where I was thinking, what should I call this band? I was I learned about my Hebrew birthday because I didn't grow up religious and I have a lot of gaps, I suppose, in my Jewish education.

So it's sort of like around the same time I was like off the fifth of Nisan and I decided I was deciding between the fifth of Nisan or Hey Nisan.

Hey, Nissan.

I think that's awesome.

And I have to say, I played in, you know, Jewish cover bands for quite a while.

But I really only started my first kind of Jewish music art project when I was a fair bit older than you.
