Jessie Murph

She looked great.

Jessie Murph.

Oh, she's like a singer.

I've seen her on the internet.

Think of a 90s sitcom.

Jesse Kassopoulos.

Uncle Jesse, yeah.

Uncle Jesse.

Uncle Jesse.

Clown Monster.

Pennywise.

She'd be Taylor Taylor.

The rest of the soundtrack is no slouch either.

It also features Megan Maroney, Stella Lefty, and Bailey Zimmerman on My Kinda Love, plus Jesse Murph, Ravin Lanais, Ellie Goulding, J Balvin, and Maisie Peters.

That is a lineup that shows just how big Nobody Wants This has become, a Netflix rom-com that can pull a soundtrack roster like a festival bill and still make room for two Miley demos that fans have wanted for years.

The show's music supervisor clearly understood the assignment because dropping those demos inside this soundtrack guarantees millions of ears that a standalone release might never have reached.

So just don't pick up those fruity bars now.

Our next blind item is about Jessie Murph.

You know

that song? That's what I remember.

I've actually met her before.

Very kind girl, very talented.

The Doesn't Even Break Five Feet singer, Jessie Murph, who started on TikTok is doing much better now that she's out of rehab, allegedly.

Her family and team essentially forced her into it for a while after substance addiction got so bad that she even collapsed at rehearsal.

We're talking about Rihanna.

We're talking about Jessie Murph and so much more.

So please make sure you're subscribed and I'll see you there.

Maybe when you do only one or two shows a year, you should be nice to your fans.

But also, I love Amy Winehouse and I love blues and, like, I love all these other things that shape me.

Jessi Murph is another big influence.

Oh, dude.

I just got to see her-

...

when we were at the Jesse Murphy show, and this is the boot jack from Yahoo!" Like, so-

100%.

That's, that's kind of how we think about it in terms of just really guiding their experience.

Come on the podcast.

But I just want to keep it brief because everybody's thing is like, oh, you said that if Jay hooked up with Jessie Murph that that would be disgusting.

And I think what was said got taken out of context because Jessie is one of our...

He literally calls her our little sister and... she's a part of the family.

You know, to get to go and represent another artist with some arena song that they're gonna sing back at you.

So I was Jesse Murph most nights.

[laughs]

And then the, the very last night on the tour, he would let you do Save Me in the Rain, which is a Lainey Wilson song, you know?
