How does a leader authentically take ownership for those decisions within their team?

Such a great question and definitely something that most leaders can attest to really struggling with at certain points in their process.

I would say that we're really coming back to some of the same principles that we talked about earlier in the conversation surrounding vulnerability and transparency, while also upholding organizational principles, company expectations, environmental expectations, policies, et cetera.

And so what that can sound like is I recognize why this might feel like a challenge for us.

Or I want to acknowledge that we are already spread so thin as a team.

And this is what is being asked of us.

And as a leader, I have a responsibility to ensure that we are flexible in the way in which we are moving things along.

What does a leader who is doing this really well look like? Meaning what are some of the behaviors that tell people on their teams? I may not have all of the answers, but you can trust me and lead us through this.
