Jessica Queller

But for those who didn't catch the episode, remind us how this came together being on Gilmore Girls, Stephen.

Yeah, I have a friend, Jessica Queller, who is a writer producer on the show.

And she called me and just said, hey, I can't remember if it was called Norman Mailer.

I'm pregnant at that time.

He had a couple of canes.

And so I met him.

I think I flew to Boston and, to um meet him he's living in provincetown massachusetts and then uh you know you had to have one of those carts in the airport to navigate to the plane but we had a great time it was a really fun trip and i was you know really grateful to be able to help him and on the journey and um we and uh yeah it was just i don't know uh it was so generous of him to do this really for me and for my friend jessica And yeah, I just had a lovely time with him.

And I remember, I think after the first day of shooting, Jessica was having a Yom Kippur dinner with a good friend of ours that we had done a play with.
