Jessa Maxwell

So yeah, that's wonderful.

Another book I read recently and didn't realize when I picked it up that it was going to be a great manor house mystery example is "The Golden Spoon" by Jessa Maxwell, and this was a 2023 release that was kind of a big deal when it came out, and I, I missed it, but I had a friend recommend it and said, "You've got to read it." And this one is fun because it's definitely the manor house trope because we have the, one of the main characters who has...

This is her family home, and for generations they've lived here.

Uh, but it's a mashup with a culinary mystery because it's sort of like "The Great British Baking Show," right? Like this person who lives in the manor house, she is a, a pastry chef, and she's started hosting this television baking show.

Yeah.

And then I read The Golden Spoon by Jessa Maxwell.

This is the Great British Bake Off plus murder.

It was good.

It is so good.

It's by Jessa Maxwell.

It's basically like the Great British Bake Off, but a murder happens.

So it's like cozy and atmospheric, but with a murder mystery involved.
