Maggie HanHOST
You are the first one I've interviewed from New Zealand, so what advantages does New Zealand offer for short drama production?

Jeshua ManuGUEST
New Zealand has a couple of different, um, advantages, both from the storytelling side and from the technical side.

Jeshua ManuGUEST
Um, the first one that's a big-ticket number is that there are no unions here, um, so producing a, um, drama over here is just a lot easier.

Jeshua ManuGUEST
There's a local rebate as well which is up for grabs, which we've been, um, chatting, um, we're in talks with the government with.

Jeshua ManuGUEST
Um, and there've been some changes to that which makes them more vertical-friendly, but so we are, yeah, working on applying that rebate to vertical dramas.

Jeshua ManuGUEST
Um, so that's on the technical side what makes New Zealand, um, oh, just a much easier place to get a vertical drama done.
