I'd say, you know, look at Jerry Lewis.

He, he was, you know, flown in private jets and he used to have these, you know, offsite conferences about Jerry's Kids.

And, you know, Jerry's Kids are...

Yep, Jerry's Kids, the FUs, and they just become Straw Dogs kind of right around then, M85.

... people, people were mean to me this weekend, and that's all right.

Yeah.

Or broke up-

advertising, their own artwork, their own recording, you know, it wasn't like a label where they give you an advance and then you record and then you try to make it back.

We also had to sell our own records too, you know, which occasionally got confusing, you know, we get, we get a check for Jerry's kids record and vice versa, you know, but the, the, the good thing about it, you know, that Al had this idea.

Cause you know, People were buying Discord records just because they said Discord on them, right? That's right.

So he came up with his own version of Discord, and he let people use it as long as they were independent, and that's how we got on there.

Yeah.

Of course, Revere Beach, actually.

But the show, I think the show kind of caught everybody off guard how – How many people came out for it? Because it was a lineup of, you know, a lot of the old pro-back Boston bands, right? It was F.U.' 's of Chris, also D.Y.S., Jerry's Kids, Gang Green, and then, you know, Drew's other band, Antidote, opened the show.

They gave us Slapshot Play, too.

And then I think that's where, John, you mentioned how John Anastas had suggested you guys when they're trying to fill out the lineup for the this is Boston on L.A.

So he did that because obviously you guys ended up on that disc, which, you know, very famous with, you know, Jerry's kids and the proletariat gangrene, of course, and decadence.

really, really, you know, spoken to as like one of the most influential records to come out from that whole scene.

And it's still, you know, still to this day, it's referenced all the time.

That's a pretty historic show as well.

Give us some memories from that show.

Talk about which? The first show, the channel, your first channel gig in March 20 of 83, where you were with the Misfits and Jerry's Kids in the Freeze.

Oh, yeah, that was terrifying.

And I went through a slight punk phase, but not really.

I mean, I went and saw, because I lived in Boston, so I went and saw Jerry's Kids, 007, and I think I saw Gangrene, but it was just like a slight phase that I, you know, and I saw signs for Flipper everywhere.

Somebody was drawing that fish all over every building.

That was the graffiti of the time, you know? Yeah.
