I came, and I just sat at a, in, in a seat, and I think the seat was, uh, Jerome Kennedy's.

So I got a couple glares from a couple people.

He said, "If I owe any apologies, I only owe it to that young man down there." He said, "But you don't need me." He said, "You won't be labeled as one of Danny's boys." 'Cause I think the media were playing him up some way, shape, or form on the open lines that there were people who were saying whoever gets elected are just, you know, gonna mimic what, uh, Danny wanted.

And he got up and walked out.

And I remember Joan- Jerome Kennedy said, "What did he say?" And I said, "He said he's done." And Jerome said, "Done with what?" And I said, "I assume politics." He said, "What?" And then, you know, Kathy came and said, "We want nobody to leave here now.

We want everybody to go up to the cabinet room upstairs.
