And then bring in other shows like United that have this unique opportunity to speak to the moment, to take a character like Jonathan Archer that so many people adore, that they, they feel he was just underserved, and he deserves that opportunity to come back, and let's see what his story is.

And it lines up perfectly 'cause it'd be, you know, 22 years later, and he's now president, and that's exactly sort of the time that has elapsed since we saw him on Star Trek: Enterprise.

What's interesting when that happens is that when she is Borg, all of the elements that we would look at to... identify secondary and tertiary sexual characteristics to to try to you know visually identify and it's it's a natural thing obviously the gender conversation is is something to be you know acknowledged and respected but when we see somebody one of our psychological responses is to identify if they are male or female all of those characteristics that you would look at someone to figure that out are subsumed by the borg transformation You can't look at Seven as a Borg and tell if they are male or female.

Not at first, which is part of the reason Jerry Ryan passed out while filming a couple of times, because she was pretty tightly bound to disguise some of those and found it difficult to breathe at times.
