Um, we, we look at our downloads, we look at our subscribers, and we feel like that's important, but how important is it really?
6:47
Yeah, I'll give a disclaimer.
6:48
When I'm talking about this, I am talking about B2B podcasts, okay? So I am not an expert, nor do I talk about comedy podcasts or true crime podcasts or sports podcasts 'cause there's a different measurement there, um, obviously, because they're probably more media company and more advertising.
7:04
But what, and so when I talk B2B, it's like someone is profiting and monetizing their business through their business, through their pod- for their podcast through their business.
7:15
And so it's a bit different.
7:16
And so, like, this may sound crazy to you, maybe not, but, like, I don't n- I haven't checked my metrics in probably over a decade, okay? Um, download subscribers, I have no idea what that is.
7:30
If you asked me to, "I'll give you a million dollars if you tell me what your download..." I have no idea, okay? What I do care about is relationships, okay? I do care about people sharing the episode.

So we've talked mostly about how do you get people on the show and, you know, w- who are you trying to line up? But then what do you talk about and, and how important is this, what you actually talk about versus, you know, the fact that you're just talking to someone and building a relationship?
1:09
Give us your story and how you got into podcasting in general.
1:12
Yeah, I'll give you a quick background.
1:14
I have a strange background when people hear what I do now, but I studied biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, went on to chiropractic school.
1:23
My dad had really bad neck pain and problems when I was young, and I saw him go to lots of doctors.
1:30
No one helped him except for finally a chiropractor.
1:33
After years of suffering, a month later, he was almost 100% better.
1:37
So I saw him go through that, and I said...

I am excited to introduce Pat Mancuso.
2:13
He's an entrepreneur, consultant, tax mitigation strategist, and he's really dedicated to helping business owners grow smarter, retain more of their hard-earned profits.
2:24
And he's founder of Mancuso.
2:26
Consulting group, he brings over 30 years of real-world experience.
2:29
He's been in the trenches in leadership, business, tax planning, exit strategy, and actually for a few decades, he facilitated and delivered sales and leadership training across North America for Keller Williams.
2:42
If you don't know Keller Williams, Keller Williams Realty is the second largest real estate company in North America, almost... 80,000 associates.

30:12
And most people don't understand that.
5:38
From your perspective, what was a common thread?
5:41
Yeah.
5:42
I mean, you mentioned in the front of this, which is relationships.
5:44
And for me, the foundation for everything for me is one relationships and two direct response, direct response, copywriting, marketing, um, which bleeds into relationships.
6:01
And so like for me, um, even in any industry i've applied that i've gone across different industries and applied that and in the way i think of it and you mentioned my background was in biochemistry as a chiropractor i studied biochemistry at wisconsin and went on to be a chiropractor and like how are you now helping companies launch and run podcasts you know this makes no sense um but you know, in chiropractic school, they don't teach you business.
6:30
You know, you work with a lot of people in different industries too.
6:33
Like they don't teach you business and marketing.
11:01
Yeah.
