In 1978, all four members of KISS at that time released solo albums.

Well, I'm really glad to talk with you.

I've been listening to your newest record, In Motion, and I wanted to say, are you the love child of Jeremy Spencer and Peter Green? Which I'm sure you've heard before.

Oh, yeah.

Well, like all of us, I'm a lifelong music fan and you never know where it comes from or how it gets in there, but it all seeps in from different places.

Peter started that and handed that to me, I think.

When he, he welcomed everyone, including me, uh, Danny Kirwan, who joined the original band, Jeremy Spencer, they were all there so that Peter did not want to be King Tut i-in, in the front there, taking all the limelight.

And I think it was way more, uh, meaningful in sense of, of where he came from.

It's just he wanted to be in a band, and he created that band and made sure the band was not called Peter Green's anything, 'cause he could have very easily, and I always thank him for that.

Something that is not really shown in the book, and it's not something that I've never said out loud, you know, I was a child actor from the age of one to 10.

The Children of God had a huge, huge media program run in part by Jeremy Spencer of Fleetwood Mac.

And of course, he was quite a skilled musician.

He was also quite a skilled drawing artist.

Exactly.

So the remaining four members, Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Jeremy Spencer, and Danny Kirwan, released the album Kiln House in September 1970.

And Christine McVie, who would marry John McVie, was invited to officially join the band to help fill out the rhythm section and add her vocal talents.

Right.

But the lineup changes were just beginning.

While on a United States tour in February 1971, guitarist Jeremy Spencer told the band he was going out to get a magazine, and he just never returned.

Wait, he just left to get a magazine and vanished?
