You know, I would imagine that the riders as a whole are focused on getting some of their key players back.

And then usually you've got to request, if you want, Jeremy O'Day anyway for an interview, and he's not always readily available.

A message into the Prairie Line Rentals text line a little while ago about has anyone heard from Jeremy O'Day? Has anyone heard from Jeremy? Well, it's a bye week, right? So they let everyone get away.

He's at the beach.

And maybe it might have been smarter to let one of them go.

I'm not saying I wouldn't want to be Jeremy O'Day making that decision.

You let one of them go, I would probably lean towards Kian.

As much as I know people talked about he wanted to be here, and the organization loves him, he loves the organization, the town, the fans, all that sort of stuff.

If something happens there, Coach Mace... is Snapola, and rightly so.

Jeremy O'Day's probably coming down from the booth, wherever he is, and tossing hands.

Maybe not to that extent, but we'd love to see it.

Yeah, that play should have been called out.

They've drafted well.

Jeremy O'Day and his team, the general manager, have drafted good young players.

They've relied on these Canadians.

But, you know, they're not ready to carry a team yet.

Yeah, I just had a couple points I wanted to bring up.

I mean, I think it's pretty clear at this point that our receiving core is pretty decimated by injuries and the talent level probably isn't where it needs to be, which is, you know, hard to blame O'Day or anything on that.

I mean, we've been pretty decimated this year, but...

Two things about that.

He's not a burner, but he can go and jump ball with the best of them.

Perhaps you have to... amend your offense to that if you were going to bring a guy like Gino Lewis into the fold.

I don't think that Corey Mace, Jeremy O'Day, and the Riders are going to rush Kean Schaefer-Baker back too fast or Samuel Emelis.

It seems like Kean Schaefer-Baker was getting close.

No, I mean, I think it just shows, one, how tough it is to kind of be a manager and a coach in a professional league, especially in a contact sport like football.

And then how hard that Jeremy O'Day and Coach Mace are working at trying to keep the roster, you know, stacked plentiful so that they can really make a run at this and be the competitors and try to repeat.

So...

I think they're showing their effort and trying to do what's right.

You do you.

But I got a tough time believing that on the phone, the phone line to Jeremy O'Day's office, he's inquiring about another leg.
