just like not what stands out to me about music from that past year um and i think that's true like jeremy dutcher won for a second time the year before that i'm not saying these people don't deserve it or like with them it's not there's no merit there but it's more like I think with a prize like this, you do want to keep it so it's interesting for normal people as well.

The member of the Nogotkuk First Nation has already won two Polaris Music Prizes as well as a Juno Award.

At thirty-five, he's also now the youngest person to be granted an honorary degree by the university.
