I do think that the level of security here is very, very high.

I went to a festival in an ancient city Italian Roman amphitheater in Jarash.

And I swear I had to go through like five checkpoints just to arrive to the theater itself.

Like there were five different security checks, which is a bit, I think it would seem like an overkill, but somehow it does secure that you are in a safe place, even though, yeah, this a bit goes against my, beliefs that you need this kind of intimidation or security or policemen to enforce this sense of security and safety, kind of making other people feel like there is a threat or there is a danger or there's something to be afraid of.

And, um, yeah, this is where he was sent back to be killed.

Then there is the birthplace of Elijah in northern Jordan that we will hit, as well as Gerasa or Jerash, the most well-preserved city of the Decapolis, um, that there is.

And we, we do visit Beth Shan in Israel, a city of the Decapolis.

Um, Jerash, man, you, you really do get the context for maybe what a metropolitan Roman Empire well-developed city is.

It's really, really spectacular.

The Turkish government has permitted them to repopulate various ruinous towns, Nawa, Amman, Jerash, and various villages for a given period without paying any taxes.

And in spite of certain incidents of attack and reprisal between themselves and the Bedu, fierce enough for the time, they have succeeded in inspiring their neighbors with respect or perhaps awe.
