Jenks

When my husband and I, we were, we met in 1984 in Tulsa and married that year.

And, uh, my husband built a church there, um, in Jenks, Oklahoma, outside of Tulsa.

Seated 1,000 people on 85 acres, and we planned to continue there with the ministry.

Dad Hagin came and dedicated the building, and, uh, we were expecting to just stay there.

Yeah, usually about – One to two times every weekend.

Plus, we've got residency at a place called Maggie's here in Jenks where they opened up, I don't even know how many years ago, but I've pretty much played there since they opened up.

It's a good thing.

Everybody that goes there is into music.

Let's deal with another question.

I know Jenks is traditionally a very good high school football team from out of the Tulsa area.

Allens, huge, 26-7 win over Duncanville, with a bunch of sophomores on that team, mind you.

Southlake Carroll, the comeback win of the year so far, 34-33 over Jenks, Oklahoma.

That's the one we were talking about earlier where Matthew got a little bit excited too early.

North Shore, 35-0 over Lancaster.

But I think, like, let's not overthink it.

And an injured player and a key defensive player for Oklahoma, Rocky Kalmas, the sophomore from Tulsa Jenks High School.

He is their leading tackler in the season.

As you've seen graphically, Oklahoma giving up its first points in the opening quarter of this 1999 season, and that's not a pleasant sight.

And they give up the middle to fishing who dumped rudely by Rocky Thomas.

That was a rocky effort there.

Fisher was a quick dismissal of his highest hopes and Thomas who was the high school state defensive player of the year at Tulsa Jenks.

Knowles opened that season with a monster performance, helping his South Lake Carroll Dragons pull off one of the biggest comebacks in program history.

The Illinois commit caught seven passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns as South Lake Carroll erased a 27-point deficit to stun Jenks Oklahoma 34-33.
