Jem Bendell

The function of today's episode is going to serve as an espresso shot of sobering clarity, which will hopefully bring us all onto the same page of where our work is going to lie in the coming years.

That's because today we're going to be joined by British scholar and emeritus professor of sustainability at the University of Cumbria, Jem Bendell.

He has 20 years of experience in sustainable business and finance.

as a researcher, educator, facilitator, advisor, and entrepreneur.

That's when I studied climatology in, what, 93, 94 at Cambridge University as one of the modules in my geography degree.

So I thought, what's going on? Why is this happening so fast? This is worrying.

And so I took a year out of my job as a professor of a university to look at the climatology for myself.

for the first time since I was an undergraduate.
