Give me UNC tight end Jelani Thurman.

He's their leading receiver right now.

Had a big game against TCU.

So Bromer has excellent size to transfer to a big-bodied NFL tight end, and if he can continue to be, uh, consistent and productive for this Penn State passing attack, he could be someone who becomes kind of an interesting profile in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.

North Carolina tight end Jelani Thurman had a very low competition level game this week, and maybe he wouldn't make this risers post or this riser section if it wasn't for the fact that he did get a little bit under-discussed from the fact that his big breakout was in Week Zero and not Week One, but he's been very productive so far this year.

He followed up his breakout game with a good second game.

He has very good yards per outrun so far this season, and keeping in, uh, keeping in line with the transfers that we've been so far in this category, Jelani Thurman was a Ohio State transfer last year, transferred to North Carolina this year, and is playing at a completely different level.

And then finally, already mentioned him once on the show, but one of the best names in college football, Colorado State transfer and current Oklahoma tight end Rocky Beers.

Rocky Beers was the best player on the field for Oklahoma, or at least the Oklahoma skilled position players, with six receptions for 94 yards against Michigan.

So again, CJ Sadler on the surface that may not be overly impressive just based on the lack of volume, but his route run's crisp.

Um, I, the most impressive play for me from him is it was also one more impressive plays for Billy Edwards Jr. as well is on third and 16, throwing a comeback route, uh, on the left sideline.

Um, you thought it'd be more solidified.

But so far it's really, he's fell, he's fallen in the pecking order, um, in terms of targets.

Um, Jelani Thurman, who we'll talk about here in a second, Jordan Shipp, those appear to be the top two targets in this offense.

But, you know, we want to see someone else maybe emerge in that passing game.

And I thought C.J. Sadler was a guy that – that was a big step for him individually, right? Confidence-wise, three catches, 66 yards, had a massive block that spurred Jelani Thurman's touchdown where you could hear him pop that dude's pad because of how much of a hit that he was able to lay.

Talk about a guy like Peyton Seelman.

Led Carolina in tackles with 10 stops.

Yeah, and I mean, look, there were a lot of really good performances.

You mentioned one of the guys right there.

And then the Heels had good enough offense with the 60-year senior quarterback Billy Edwards Jr., a former starter at Maryland and Wisconsin, minimizing his mistakes.

while utilizing weapons such as the Ohio State transfer Jelani Thurman at tight end, all-ACC returnee Jordan Shipp at wide receiver, and three running backs who average 225 pounds and know how to move a pile.

If the Tar Heels get off to a good start in front of that Death Valley crowd, they'll actually have a chance at their first win at that venue in a quarter century.

At this point, the NFL looks like a reachable goal for Nate Shepard, too.

A freshman All-American and second-team All-ACC honoree last year when he rushed 200 times for 1,132 yards and 11 touchdowns for the ACC champion Blue Devils, Shepard now looks like one of the best running backs in the entire country and one of the very best players at any position in the entire ACC.

During his three seasons at Ohio State, Thurman played only as a backup for the Buckeyes.

Billy Edwards completed 15-20 passes for 244 yards and threw two first-quarter touchdowns.

including a 24-yard catch and run to Jelani Thurman just 79 seconds into the game.

North Carolina's defense allowed 255 yards, forced two turnovers, and recorded four sacks, two each from Jalen Harvey and Xavier Lewis.
