Jeffrey Steele

So I want to get more on the Jason Aldean, She's Country song and how that, what happened.

You know, we had that song early on, Jeffrey Steele.

We were singing it for a year live.

Jeffrey Steele was going to be our producer.

This is 2007, probably 2006.

And he gives us a CD and it's got 13 songs on it.

And he says, take the Jeffrey Steele, the songwriter in Nashville says, take this CD, play it.

and pick one of the songs.

And like you said, it was our peer group.

You know, at that time, I would have given anything to have been in a room with Rivers Rutherford or Jeffrey Steele or Craig Wise.

I mean, still would.

Those guys are iconic songwriters.

That's correct.

And then I was really fortunate that I had such a great team that they were like, well, who are some of your big wish writers to get to write with? And Jeff Steele and Bob DiPiro were at really the top of that.

There were a lot of people there.

That one meant my mom and I somehow got an ad for the first year.

I was a senior in high school and the first year, um, they had it.

My mom took me over there and, and, and we went over and, um, The main person I wanted to see was Jeff Steele because I'd never seen him live.

Maybe I'd seen a YouTube video, but I kept seeing his name on all of my favorite songs.
