And we're talking with Jeffrey Long, and he, I guess, is still somewhat a member of the D.C. 9-11 Truth Movement.

He also was involved with the Rock Creek Free Press, which is a positive note in all this.

Those who have had near-death experiences and some of the researchers who have studied them say that while so much remains unknown, they strongly suggest the possibility of a post-death existence.

We are now at a point in history where near-death experiences provide powerful enough evidence for the reality of a life after death, said Jeffrey Long, a Kentucky radiation oncologist and author who has spent years studying near-death experiences.

Gray said nearly five decades of studying near-death has convinced him there is probably something after death.

What it is, he said, I have no idea.

We'll be talking about near-death experiences today and some of the latest research that I've been doing involving near-death experience.

So I studied more and more of them.

I looked at the NDERF database by Jeffrey Long.

I looked at the IANDS, International Association of Near-Death Studies website, and I analyzed thousands of accounts of near-death experiences.

And as a physicist, I must say that it's not understandable through our brain chemistry why the narratives, the stories, the accounts, the experiences through time, through cultures, through genders, through ages, through people are so similar.

For example, different people that are having NDEs and what are the common themes.

You have people like Dr. Jeffrey Long, that they look at what's going on and can we find any patterns.

And that's one way you do science.

Because it's not like we can test NDEs.
