And as Aristotle defined and some other recent scholars, including Jeffrey Winters, who's really done fantastic work on this, and I want to make sure to mention him, He's at Northwestern University.

As they highlighted, that wealth doesn't need to come from any kind of illicit or questionable or suspect source.

So you just mentioned the Russian oligarchs of the 1990s and 2000s especially.

They're creating greater and greater inequality in the United States.

Now, this book is called The Blind Spot by Jeffrey Winters, and it outlines how contributing to this increasing deficit, they get around even paying the taxes they're supposed to.

And I just wonder how widespread – this author, Jeffrey Winters, said that – A lot of people don't know they defy democracy.

They have ways of getting around, even where the democratic process tries to put control on them.

They have this, well... defense industry that helps them get around even when democracy tries to get them to pay.

There's a great academic, a guy named Jeffrey Winters, who I want to make sure to shout out.

He's a little bit of him in the book.

One of the very few scholars who is focused on oligarchy.

It's something that happens, so to speak, over there, most especially in the former Soviet Union, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, et cetera, et cetera.

And again, one person I wanted to give a special shout out to is, thanks, is a guy named Jeffrey Winters, who is one of the very few academics.

He's at Northwestern University.
