Jeff Walz

Well, on, on Sunday following Mike Boynton, uh, Sam Purcell, he's the women's coach at Mississippi State.

Uh, and I, I met him years ago when he was, uh, Jeff Walz's assistant at Louisville when I went down there for a practice.

He's, he's phenomenal.

I, I saw him speak last year at the Nashville clinic, and, um, he was the best speaker they had.

He's entering his fifth year at Mississippi State, women's basketball coach Sam Purcell.

He was Jeff Walz's assistant for nine years at Louisville, who's a great coach.

And I'm telling you, the energy that Sam has is so contagious.

He is just so authentic, so natural.

We know that now.

Unfortunately, they want equity, as I like to say, and I say this to all my women head coaching friends, you all want to be treated as equals, but all of a sudden the guy is now maybe is equal or better.

Now that, you know, we want to be that, And, you know, Gino and, you know, Jeff Walls and people like that, you've done a great job in the business.

How has that maneuvered now for

The, what was the women's basketball coach's name? Um.

Jeff Walz.

Jeff Walz, yeah.

Jeff Walz.

He's too boring.

You know what? Petrino, Patino, and Walz is, it mi- that might be right there during that time period.

We don't have a ton left over to try to build a, a, a college world series contender, but if anybody deserves that money, it should be us.

I'm sure Jeff Walz has similar thoughts as well.
