i don't think so i think this is the kind of book i would have enjoyed more as being like in a kevin smith movie in the 90s as like a subject of it's sort of like the same way i don't actually want to watch boxing but i like movies about boxing i don't think i actually want to read this book i want to see the guys creating it um and also when it came to indie books i was definitely more interested bone by jeff smith or like castle waiting by linda medley much softer tone

When Dave Sim wanted to be funny, especially in the 1980s, he was capable of writing the funniest comic book there ever was.

Keep it breezy.

You have to, like an engineer, get all of those components working and then make it look like you didn't try at all.

It has to look absolutely Dashed off doesn't really convey it because, you know, Jeff Smith's Bone, for example, or Cerebus are really beautifully drawn.

No one would accuse them of being dashed off.

What are the five you're giving them as an intro?

I think I'd be giving them Bone by Jeff Smith.

I would give them Calvin and Hobbes.

younger? I'm a big fan of The Goon, Hellboy, Charles Burns, Jeff Smith.

I'm not more so a superhero kind of guy.
