Um, Gabe and I's favorite band has always been Weezer.

Um, at the time he had introduced me to like just a year prior to like Jeff Rosenstock.

Um, and I had found Mike Kroll and, um, those had become like two really huge influences of mine as well.

Um, and, um, roswell kid actually is another extremely big influence on gabe and i um and you know i i was like i want to do just that and we dropped it still the same which was our first single and i got it i got a comment on the youtube video because it went like semi-viral um through a friend of ours who was like a youtuber was like i'm just going to use it as my intro for two weeks and i was like okay sure that sounds awesome um so we got a bunch of like kids from around the world, because he was like a Minecraft YouTuber, commenting on our video being like, this is the Connor Pug song, which was his YouTube name.

And then Not Working we just knew had such, like, a, a single-type sound to it.

Like, it's very, like, pop punk, Jeff Rosenstock kind of sing...

Like, it was just like, "This is a single," you know? Not even in a way that was like it's the best, it's, like, makes it better than album songs, but, like, there, you can, there's, like, a, like, when you listen to an album even if you ne- don't know the singles on it, sometimes you can just pick them out

Exactly.

And Jeff Rosenstock, a musician who puts out music for free or for a price, whichever you prefer.

Music is a really important part of me, whether or not capitalism is involved.

Like, if he got done playing at 10, your dudes were moving and tearing stuff down at, like, 10.01. Like, they were ready to go.

yeah we and we have a crew that has done it like you know both set up and tear down we have a crew that like has done it multiple years like no kind of the next step um that are kind of come into it fresh too like we used to be like first few first several years of buddy the plaza we'd have the same people work kind of floor security all weekend long and then we would work all day long on saturday sunday and then tear down really fast and we just i'd be killing people all week including myself um We're like, we've been baking in like half shifts so you can have time to do something else and then you come in fresh to tear down.

He's in a couple of bands.
