How about a sleeper? Who was not getting talked enough about?

I love Tulsa.

I don't know if they're ready to win it yet, but we've had Trey Lamb on a couple times before he even got to Tulsa.

And just what he's been able to do kind of coming up, and then your quarterback's coming back.

You have a great corner on the defensive side.

So they got some really good pieces returning.

Can they just, the new guys they brought in, can that bolster that roster to get them kind of to that next level? And, again, with, you know, we don't know how Will Hall is going to do at Tulane.

And the last thing that I'll leave you with too, is when you take a look at this conference, not just within the teams itself, but on a national stage, where does the American rank in the group of six and even up against some of the P four conferences?

Uh, you know, you call to say, "Hey, we're gonna give a hand." So what they already wanted to evacuate the whole hospital, is that what I understand? And, you know, by the way, that can't be a small hos- 'cause 100,000 people is a lot of people.

It's fairly, it's fairly large.

It has its own ICU, and, uh, so the ICU has f- from what I remember, eight beds that, that typically are, you know, 75% to 80% full.

And, um, the, it, it is a fairly large hospital for the region itself.

It, it handles a lot of patients.

And so what they started was a, an evacuation of, uh, of the ICU was the first place they started, and that's kind of where our butter- bread and butter is, is that we, we're kinda specialized in that ICU-to-ICU transport, and so we were the, the best use for that.

Now, our first patient, it was, was a patient that was actually scheduled for surgery, and they were scheduled in Fort McMurray to go to surgery, and then as they were getting prepared or prepping for surgery, the evacuation order hit.

How did you react? C- So then, like, did you hop onto the ground ambulance, try to get to the hospital, and just realized it didn't work? Like, how fast did you have to come up with this system where the helicopter would get the patient from the hospital to you? 'Cause I understand that's not the way you usually work.

So, uh, Jeff, since you do hail from Canada, can you help us better explain the differences, uh, in the primary care paramedic, uh, advanced care paramedic system, uh, compared to the US EMS system?

Yeah.

So it's actually fairly parallel in a lot of ways.

So a PCP is your equivalent to an, uh, an AEMT.

And so that's the, the, the typical level that we have on an ambulance i- is a PCP level, which is your equivalent to AEMT.

Um, and then we have our ACPs, which are, like, depending on what province you go to, will have varying degrees of very s- like, similarities to your paramedic level.

So as far as, like, skill level and scope level, it's quite similar, um, as far as that, that system goes.
