Jeff Mingay

Why would you build a competitor up the road, uh, to it?" And, you know, I think that, that we proved that, you know, one plus one did equal three, as Mike used to say.

A- another guy who, who moonlighted on Links a little bit was Jeff Mingay, and Jeff's the architect of your n- new course that's in construction right now, Cabot Whales.

How, how did this project come about? I know, I know that, I know it was John Bragg's, maybe it started off kind of as a, as a passion project for him, and now you're, now Cabot's involved.

You kept Jeff on, but, uh, he's a guy that you've known for a long time, a fellow Canadian, um, a, a guy I consider a friend.

Well, so Jeff is, uh, Jeff's a longtime friend of mine.

Um, you know, I, we go back, uh, to probably 27 years when I started in golf.

And when I made that first trip to Cape Breton in December of '04, um, Jeff Mingay was in the car.

We, uh, he and I went there, drove to Inverness together, and walked around.

Talk about an easy stay-and-play package there.

And now you've got this new Cabot Jeff Mingay-designed course.

So I'm right into it.

Oh, it's amazing.
