Jeff Lucas

lucas on life hello welcome to lucas on life here on premier christian radio i'm jeff lucas and tonight i'd like us to reflect on the subject of spiritual dryness doesn't sound exciting i know but i believe that all of us as followers of jesus can go through those wilderness seasons where we wonder where god has gone and maybe we wonder about our own capacity to hear him or be faithful to him.

When I became a Christian hundreds of years ago, or so it seemed, I got the impression that as a Christian I needed to always be excited, always joyful, and I believed that all Christians had high-speed fiber optic connections with God.

They would pray about something he would immediately answer and constantly the answer would be what they wanted to hear.

Happy Sunday evening to you.

I'm Jeff Lucas, and tonight I'd like to talk about being humble.

Humility, yes, that elusive quality.

Just when you think you've got it, you become proud because, hey, you've become humble.
