Well, for decades now, Louisiana has watched opportunity slip by it or opportunity not come.

But the potential for opportunity to come here and to be rooted down and to create great economic opportunity was always in Louisiana.

And over the last three years, it's just basic common sense, right? We work on public safety.

We drop crime.

We work on education.

Our education rankings have gone up.

I guess the obvious question some skeptics might wonder is, how do you keep these projects from competing for both workers? And do you think the electrical issue will be a problem?

No, look, well, let's take the last first.

I mean, what we've done since the very beginning, okay, we issued an executive order just the other day on our ratepayer protection plan, but that actually was what the deal that we struck with Meta very, very early on.

I mean, Louisiana has always had a gap, a delta in the amount of electrical generation that we had out there versus what we were using, which made it difficult.

That's what attracted some of these projects to us.

But we said we want to keep that.

We want to keep our rates down.

What's the timeline and what options are on the table?

... as a weapon, right? And the courts got themselves entangled in it.

Louisiana was ground zero.

I mean, we've gone back and forth and back and forth to federal court.

We've had the federal courts control our mapping in the '90s.

And, you know, being a conservative and being a federalist, I want states to assume their rightful place in the country and, and, and use the sovereignty that we have up to the constitutional limits that states are allowed, and one of those is drawing districts.

And so we saw very early on the ability to move cases all the way up to the Supreme Court, and we brought cases all the way up to the Supreme Court.

I mean, look, I think the voters of Louisiana sent that clear message a couple of weeks ago last weekend when they basically said, look, we're tired of people that are going to go out there and beg the president to to ride his coattails into their victory and then turn around and impeach the president.

I mean, look, the president has done so many great things for America.

He's lifted more people out of poverty, improved our economy.

I mean, in Louisiana, we've got 124,000 new job opportunities.

And these folks go over in the Senate and they just like thumb their nose at the president.

What have they done? Here's the question.

And also, why are these platforms such a threat? What more needs to be done to protect kids online?

To people that aren't sold on school choice or the L.A. Gator program, how would you explain it to them?

Look, I think what we're trying to institute is money follows the child.

I mean, it only makes sense.

It is our citizens' money.

They spend a lot of money out there that is collected in taxes, and those taxes go into our educational system.

And when their schools don't fit what their child needs, then they should have the ability – to be able to move.

And children shouldn't be stuck in bad schools just because of zip codes.
