And then on October 27th, Melanie Minichino, who played Catherine Grant on My Adventure with Superman, was born in 1983.

And Jeff East, former guest of this show, and young Clark Kent in Superman the Movie, was born in 1957.

Craven was still some years away from A Nightmare on Elm Street.

And Jeff East, who played young Clark Kent in Superman that same year, also appeared in this.

The original novel featured Rachel's pet cocker spaniel.

But Blair's fondness for horses reportedly persuaded Craven to change the animal to a horse for the film.

Of course, here we have also John Schmidt, played by Jeff East, who I think is probably best known for playing the young version of Clark Kent in Richard Donner's Superman.

But he made his debut... playing Huckleberry Finn in the Reader's Digest Arthur Jacobs productions of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn in 73, 74.

And like a number of people connected with this film, also works first for Wes Craven on Stranger in Our House back in 1978.

Other than Henriksen, the cast of Pumpkinhead is mostly B-movie actors with very obscure filmographies.

The only other actor with some major movie roles under his belt was Jeff East, who played Huckleberry Finn as a child in the early 70s, and most famously the teenage version of Clark Kent in Richard Donner's original Superman.

But if you look closer, you'll notice a very small bit part by a very young Mayim Bialik, who would later be known for the TV series Blossom and The Big Bang Theory.
