Apptronik says Apollo 2 is feeding the development of Apollo 3, its next-generation commercial product.

In a June 2026 interview, CEO Jeff Cardenas described Apollo 2 as a platform for data collection and scaled pilots and said the next generation was expected the following year, 2027.

Apptronik has not published Apollo 3's final specifications, price, ship date, or production capacity.

The sensible view is that 2027 is an announced target, not a guaranteed delivery date.

whether that's ATX as the convener, or I know that, you know, some of the leaders of these companies are looking at how do they have, you know, space-oriented collaboration or robotics collaboration.

You know, for example, I know that the CEO of Aptronic, Jeff Cardenas, is, you know, looking at, you know, kind of really gathering a collection of a coalition of companies related to robotics and kind of calling it RoboTexas.

So I think there's going to be some real, you know, Oh, seismic sounds, you know, but I think it is truly a seismic type activity that's going to happen when companies come together and start to collaborate across these industries and then also go deep from within.

And then in collaboration with both, you know, state, local government around investments, you know, commercialization ideas.

Yeah.

And we met Jeff Cardenas when he had just spun out of UT, and he walked into the room literally holding, like, an arm, a robotic arm-

Yeah
