Let's do it.

I'd argue stuff like Jazz's conversation with Alita was some of the strongest of the episode or episode comic.

I really liked that.

I think that, you know, they did a really good job there.

It makes sense why Jazz is there.

And so, yeah, I enjoyed that part greatly.

I liked seeing Alita Prime lead.

The second time I read through this, I noticed it after you mentioned it, and I was confused too.

However...

I will give it to them that those two figures I found personally better than the next one, which is Jazz.

I think most people didn't like this figure either, so I don't think I'm like an outlier here to say this was a pretty bad Jazz.

It's weird because I don't think...

It's a terrible design.

Like, if someone drew this on a page, I'd be like, okay, yeah, it's a bit of a redo of Jazz's style.

Like, and then she goes, okay, I understand what Optimus Prime saw in humans now and how selfless they are and how, you know, and why he, you know, he's helping them.

And he tells Jazz, you and Jetfire, take as much energon as you can, go back to Earth and help out Prime, you know.

So that's where it ends.

And it just, yeah, like, it was just a lot of talking.

Jazz, you can guess what he sounds like.

That's a very important thing.

But that's what I'm saying, like, even in the first movie, Jazz is also, he's also there.

They also hired a Black guy to kinda sound like a Black guy.

With the guns on him like that, yeah.

Um, you got Mirage and Warpath behind them, and then there's, I'm guessing it's Jazz talking to, uh, Elita Prime.

He's got the one missile over his shoulder.

Yeah, it's Jazz.

And Bulkhead's like, "Believe it, I saw it with my own optics.

Guy doesn't even have a head.

He just, just his old blinking dangling, [laughs] blinking eye dangling on a wire.

It's nuts." I can totally hear Bulkhead saying this kind of thing, too.

A Voyager Class is gonna be a nice big figure.

Uh, next on the list is, uh, Studio Series Movie One Jazz.

So this is a Deluxe Class figure.

This thing is going up on pre-order, uh, or has, uh, will be up on pre-order, uh, on...

And, uh, yeah, it, uh, it looks cool.

Eh, I mean, the Pontiac Solstice was an interesting looking car, you know, when it came out.

It's definitely looks dated now, but, um, yeah, Jazz really didn't get, uh, its due, uh, their due in the movies.

And, uh, was killed s- you know, unceremoniously by Megatron, so, uh, spoilers.

And Hasbro is still having the same problems, and Takara to an extent as well, is still having, like, the same problems of, like, these popular legacy characters based on vehicles that you can't get licensing for.

I mean, like, uh, when was the last time that Bumblebee was a VW Bug? Like, wh- when was the last time that Jazz was explicitly a Porsche? Uh, you know, wh- when was the last time that, uh, Prowl and Blue Streak were explicitly Datsun Fairlady Zs from the '80s? So it, it, it feels that Hasbro was trying to move in the direction of their own type of internal designs that wasn't based on so much liceni- licensing, which is a, a shrewd move, and not an entirely bad move because they can come up with their own proprietary designs and, and then that, that's what they got.

I mean, I bet you there is somebody in a smoke-filled Hasbro boardroom that it just chaffs his ass that in 1986 when they tried to cross off all these characters, these, these discontinued toys, that now 40 years later, that they're having to, you know, roll up to, like, Daimler Chrysler to, you know, try to get licensing, uh, you know, for, for these characters 40 years later.

You know, you, you talk about unintended consequences.

It's not like when Admiral Kirk sets the Enterprise to self-destruct in Search for Spock, and it just kind of like, you know, explodes or like there's like a gradual explosion or something like that.

This is, this is, uh, chaotic, and in that chaos, there's a degree of danger as well.

Amid the chaos comes the return of old friends as, uh, in the very bottom of the frame you see a couple figures running into frame that we will see are, uh, Spike, Daniel, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, and Jazz.

the three, the three that I would go to would probably be...

Well, the two really, 'cause I don't think Jazz would have any interest in actually leading, um, would be Prowl or Bumblebee.

Yeah.

And I don't...

Uh, problem Nobody fucking likes him.

That's why Jazz would be his second in command, though.
